I watch a lot of youtube these days. I have been doing a lot of looking about the war in Israel. October 7th scared me a lot. For all of those people in Gaza to jump the border and go on a mass killing, raping, kidnapping spree all at once like that.
Yeah, that freaked me out.
So I watched many videos on the subject, just to understand. I found the Electronic Intifada and thought I should take a look at the other side of the story. These folks are rabid anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian. They watch the war in Gaza closely. They comment, have good “insider” video, and really have deep discussions on the conflict and the horrors inflicted on the Palestinians by Israel.
I watched a video by them the other day accusing Israel of beheading Palestinian Emergency First Responders… I wondered: What the Fuck?
Now, I see this video below, and they are suggesting that the Jews [Israeli Jews], are lying, making up the fact that those Palestinians raped and tortured the women they found at the music festival. The truth is I have seen cell phone video, long, long takes of people listening to rapes taking place a few feet from them as they hid in the brush not being able to do anything but hide. Horrible.
So, I wonder, do these folks who seem so knowledgeable have inside information?
Where are they? — They are in Chicago, Illinois.
God, do I feel stupid. I actually watched these people and believed their whole “inside the conflict” vibe they put across. They really seem like they are there, in the West Bank or maybe Israel. But no, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
I start this at a point where these people, in Chicago, Illinois, are laughing at an Israeli who claims he found horrors at the site of the Nova Music Festival.
I guess if you are safe in Chicago, you can laugh at people who are in Israel pretty easily.
Why not? You’re safe as hell.
