Permanent Observer State

The key to this is the Temple Mount.

I’ll explain what I think. That mount, buildings included and the rest of the top of it [prob shouldn’t mess with Salomon’s Stables, but that is another argument], cannot go anywhere. It is against Western values to knock it down at this point – over 1,500 years old, an UNESCO World Heritage Site.*

World Heritage Sites are landmarks and areas with legal protection by an international convention administered by UNESCO for having cultural, historical, or scientific significance. The sites are judged to contain “cultural and natural heritage around the world considered to be of outstanding value to humanity”.*

*Proving the UN is not all bad.

The PLO: AKA, The Palestinian Authority, has Permanent Observer State status at the UN and they are pushing for full membership. You just got to get enough countries to recognize you and you can have your own country. Recognize me or else, works just fine obviously. The lesson of the PLO… Palestinian Authority, who have gotten this far by violence. “Palestinians” attacked, raped, murdered, tortured their neighbors. Because of the horrible “conflict”, the Palestinian Authority takes no responsibility for any of it. On the contrary, they want a full state. For some reason this horror completes their mission.

Am I the only one who sees this?

No.

No state.

No nothing.

I think you should give back all that money too.

People who try to cop the old city of Jerusalem often threaten the Temple Mount. I have read stories from the 20’s about people using it to threaten the Arab world with its destruction. To them, all of them, it is a sign of the utmost disrespect.

To threaten to tear down a 1,500 year old structure goes against core Western beliefs and tells all Arabs that to the West [to which Jews belong and who’s rules they try to adhere to], Arabs are not equal to us in our eyes [don’t have to respect the rules for them].

The Temple Mount

Now I know you are all so aggravated that the thought of driving the Arab world nuts is fun. Understand. But snap out of it. Respect gets respect, and if you cannot respect the feelings of 1 billion people, you cannot be trusted.

The answer, I think… is shown by another holy place that is recognized and protected by the UN as a Permanent Observer State. The Holy See.

I know I am simple, but these two things seem like the same thing. The Temple Mount and the Holy See.
